Available soon, the new Ford Galaxy features many fresh design touches. The front creates a bolder first impression, with the reshaped bonnet, fog lights and a grille with inserts that feature subtle chrome bars. While stand-out silver roof rails and sculpted rear LED lights, accentuate the new Galaxy's luxury MPV status.

As with the updated exterior, there's utmost attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship throughout the new Galaxy's interior. Complemented by new colour and trim choices, the character of each model can be tailored to each customer's taste and requirements.

Interior

You'll instantly appreciate the level of craftsmanship throughout the new Galaxy interior with new colours and material choices giving an overall premium feel to the cabin. This first-class ambience is complemented by a panorama roof* with sun blinds and a multi-functional overhead console with ample stowage(local markets to up-date).

The spacious layout of the new Galaxy can be configured according to your needs. Ford's Fold Flat System gives you extra flexibility, while the second and third-row seats can be folded flat in just a few seconds. And when you're loading through the rear tailgate, powerful courtesy lighting illuminates the whole luggage bay.

Another new feature to keep you entertained and enhance driving comfort is the Ford Premium Sound System. State-of-the-art speakers, pin-sharp acoustics and ample power deliver unrivalled audio sound quality. Also available is a Sony DAB system and integration with a choice of satellite navigation systems. Plus, there's an improved climate control system, which now features a new ventilated temperature and humidity sensor for even more precise control of cabin air.

There's greater performance and increased fuel economy. The smooth Ford PowerShift transmission, together with the new 2.0-litre EcoBoost SCTi engine, delivers an impressive combined fuel economy of 34.8 mpg. If you choose the updated 2.0-litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine you'll benefit from an outstanding 49.5 mpg.

Better still, none of this is at the expense of performance. The 2.0-litre SCTi EcoBoost petrol engine produces 25% more power, while also delivering 19% lower emissions and up to 20% improvement in fuel consumption.

The new Galaxy is one of the first Ford vehicles to feature the Blind Spot Information System to warn drivers of vehicles in their blind spot area. The new Adjustable Speed Limiting Device has its own obvious driver comfort and safety advantages.

Also available for the first time on the new Galaxy is the Ford PowerStart Button, as well as the award-winning Ford Easy Fuel capless refuelling system.
