The Mountune MRD270 performance upgrade has been specifically developed for the Fiesta Zetec-S 1.6-litre TDCi Mk6 variant of Ford’s popular hatchback. The MRD270 kit is the first Diesel performance kit to be launched under the Mountune name.
Having included expert diesel calibrators during the development of the MRD270 kit, you can rest assured that the usual OE-like feel and high quality will still be present, all while increasing your vehicles performance.
Actual hardware changes are minimal in the form of a K&N panel filter replacement, however, combined with the MRD270 engine calibration, the vehicles performance improvement, driveability and fuel economy have all been improved substantially throughout the entire rev range, giving you a more rewarding drive. This has only been possible thanks to the knowledge in the Mountune team, developing only the best in upgrades for your diesel Fiesta Zetec-S TDCi.
Driving pleasure will see an increase thanks to the upgrade kit and with 270Nm of torque available, overtaking is a much easier process and safer too, thanks to in-gear acceleration seeing an impressive improvement of 15%.
Once the MRD270 kit is installed, power is typically increased to 115PS, with 270Nm of torque.
