The MP260 Mountune Performance package for the Ford Focus ST variant includes:
Once the Focus ST is fitted with the MP260 Performance package, power is increased to 260PS at 5500rpm along with torque increasing to 400Nm at 2,500rpm through to 4,000rpm.
The upgrade will bring performance returns of 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds, beating the standard ST’s 0-60 time by over half a second. 0-100mph is dealt with in 14.1 seconds, beating the standard models time by a substantial 1.9 seconds.
As with all the other upgrades provided by Mountune, the MP260 performance package has been thoroughly tested on numerous laps of the Nurburgring Nordschleife as well as on British B roads.
The MP260 upgrade can be fitted to any model year of the Focus ST, new or used and comes with a minimum of 12 months/12,000-mile warranty. The MP260 is the only performance upgrade that will not affect your manufacturer vehicle warranty.
MP260:
0-60mph: 5.9secs
0-100mph: 14.1secs
MR290:
0-60mph: 5.6secs
0-100mph: 12.5secs
The MR290 package for the Ford Focus ST is based on the hardware found on the MP260 package for the Focus ST also, however the MR290 features additional hardware, such as:
Once the MR290 package is installed on the Focus ST, a significant power increase to 290PS at 5,500rpm along with torque increasing to 440Nm at 2,750-4,500rpm. This allows the MR290 Focus ST to deal with 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds, an impressive 0.9 second improvement over the Focus ST in standard guise. 0-100mph takes 12.5 seconds, a substantial 3.5 second improvement over the standard Focus ST.
Like all the other performance upgrade kits developed and supplied by Mountune, the MR290 has been extensively tested throughout various stringent test and development programs to ensure that key elements such as drivability, reliability and driving pleasure.
The MR290 upgrade can be fitted to all model years of the Ford Focus ST, new or used. The MR290 can also be directly upgraded from the MP260, with or without any of the required additional hardware seen on the MR290 kit. This allows for easy modular upgrading.
The MR290 performance upgrade kit has a warranty on all parts supplied with the kit, benefitting from a 12-months/12,000-mile warranty against manufacturing defects you can have peace of mind knowing that in the unlikely event something goes wrong, you’ll be covered.
The MR290 kit will not affect your manufacturer vehicle warranty.
